On the side I also do web work. (I'm a true geek at heart.) I look at websites as a work of art.
Each one should be an expression, instead of a cookie cutter layout.
On this front I am self taught as well. I'm experienced in HTML, JAVA, FLASH, DHTML, and some PHP.
Price wise I'm pretty inexpensive, and do not charge by the hour. Since I do this in my free time pages can
take 1 to 2 months for development.
It is a creative process, between us. We work together to get the right look for you page, (or you can just
say "go at it Kris"). You get to view everything from start to finish.
Prices can range from $250-$2000. (These costs do not include dotcom registration (@ $25)and monthly
hosting fees (@9.99-11.95 a month)- both of which would be your responsibility - not to worry I do help
with the setup of the accounts (if needed.) That is all dependant on what your page would require.
In some cases I am willing to barter, and do payment plans.
If you don't know a thing about websites, that is not a problem either, I can teach you how to keep up
your website, or for a small monthly fee, keep it up for you. I won't just dump it in your lap and tell
you to "Have a Nice Day".
Below is a small sampling of web design I have done:
Heide Hibbard Fine Art

|
Heide is a very talented artist. We concepted some designs based on her pre-existing webiste, that was designed by her daughter. We also came up with the concept of using her photobucket account for slide shows that she can auto update - remotely without having to edit code. All the colors were pulled directly from some of her paintings. Pretty soon Heide will be running her site herself! |
Found Object Art by John Christopher Borrero

|
With custom graphics, layouts, and designs to fit his unique and beautiful style of artwork, I tried to give the impression of his work area. Like you are inside his world. This is the perfect paring for his work.

Purple Rain Guest House

|
When the project was first brought to me I immediately fell in love with the handmade mangrove details on the Guest House. It quickly became a focal point of the entire site design. I created a custom graphics and a menu highlighting the mangrove details. With this site we chose to showcase the beautiful photographs. With all those great photos it was easy to create the perfect site for the Guest House.
